About Ren

Ren began teaching movement in 2009 as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, working with clients through strength training and mobility. He discovered yoga in 2010 after a leg injury from jiu jitsu left him unable to walk or train for several weeks, and yoga became a key part of his healing. Ren completed his 200‑hour teacher training in 2014 and a 300‑hour training in 2024, deepening his understanding of functional movement and breath‑led practice. As a 500‑hour certified yoga teacher, his approach blends functional strength, mindful sequencing, and breathwork to support sustainable movement and overall well‑being.

Ren believes that yoga should meet people where they are, honoring each student’s unique body, history, and goals. His teaching centers on building strength and mobility in a way that supports long‑term wellbeing and nervous system balance. He works with students who want to move with more ease, build resilience, and develop a practice that supports their life—on and off the mat.
